Jef McAllister interviewed by The Guardian

The Guardian has interviewed Jef McAllister, our Managing Partner, this week about England’s most recent revenge pornography prosecution, which saw 40 year old Simon Humphrey from St Albans receive a four-month suspended prison sentence for posting a naked image of his former partner on his Facebook page. Since the new revenge pornography law came into force last April, Jef has been following its application to new cases. He welcomes the increasing interest of both prosecutors and the media in this area, which he hopes will deter future incidents – a model he hopes can be followed in the US too.  He also advocates changing civil law so that victims can receive money damages from perpetrators, to compensate them for the huge harm revenge porn causes.
