Ann Olivarius featured in The Telegraph

In a recent Telegraph article on child-pornography laws and teen sexting, Senior Partner Ann Olivarius contributed her thoughts on the social ramifications of changing the existing law: "If we decriminalise sexting, one of the problems is it could be used as a way to groom girls. Girls who are vulnerable with self-esteem issues and want to be accepted could be caught in."

Currently, children who take and send their own sexual images are criminalised under child pornography law. Olivarius shares the concerns of All-Party Parliamentary Group for Children that alternative interventions are needed and urges society and law enforcement alike to take care "to distinguish between sexual experimentation and harmful criminal behaviour."
