Ann Olivarius speaks at the Bank of England Women's Network

Ann Olivarius spoke to the Women's Network at the Bank of England today in a lunchtime seminar. 

The title of the talk was 'Lean in, But Head First: Strategies to Deal With Gender Bias'. Dr Olivarius spoke about  gender bias and discrimination from her experience as an employment lawyer, discussed the evidence base behind gender bias in the workplace and strategies that women can use to deal with it. 

Dr Olivarius also talked about the tough environment she faced during her years in corporate finance, and the lessons that have come out of the Rhodes Project, a research centre she founded that investigates the lives and careers of women Rhodes Scholars.
