Gizmodo published an article yesterday discussing "Why the Rochester Science Department Sexual Harassment Case Matters."
The case has attracted a great deal of attention from students, faculty, and reporters across the country, as it highlights systemic issues in many universities, especially in scientific fields.
Dr Olivarius told Gizmodo that, on September 11th, she received the right to sue the University from the EEOC. “That means, we have 90 days from when we got it to get into federal court. We’ve never had a right to sue letter arrive this short a time after filing the complaint.”
