Our commercial dispute team has recently been joined by Garry Turkie. With over 30 years of experience as a solicitor, Garry has represented clients in an extremely broad range of business sectors, in claims that range from thousands of pounds to millions.
Before joining McAllister Olivarius, he headed litigation at Grant Dawe LLP, and previous to that had been litigation partner at the leading City of London law firm Taylor Wessing. He has particular expertise in real estate disputes and professional negligence claims, and is a member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association.
Garry read Law at Cambridge University to postgraduate level.
Garry Turkie says: “I came to McAllister Olivarius because I was impressed by its focus on forging strong trusting relationships with its clients, which is what I try to do too. A strong client relationship is vital; disputes are costly, stressful and time-consuming for clients. I see my role as minimising these difficult aspects, and making sure the client understands the process and knows what to expect.”
