McAllister Olivarius has been shortlisted for the Lexcel Award for Practice Management in the Law Society’s Excellence Awards 2014. The full list of nominees for this year’s Awards can be found on the Law Society’s website.
The Practice Management award celebrates the best run law firms, measured according to the demanding standards set out by the Law Society’s Lexcel practice management programme. All aspects of firm operations – finances, human resources, risk management, client care – are subject to audit, including in-depth interviews with employees at all levels to determine if the firm’s expectations and standards have permeated its culture. The goal is to make sure clients get the best possible representation. In January, McAllister Olivarius received Lexcel accreditation for the fourth year running, and the quality of its operations has been lauded as being in the top 2.5 per cent of English law firms.
The finalists for the Law Society Excellence Awards 2014 were selected by a panel of senior industry experts, and represent the top of the legal profession. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony hosted by BBC News presenter Mishal Husain on October 9 at the Park Plaza Hotel, Westminster Bridge, London. There are 10 team/firm categories and six individual categories in total.
Jef McAllister, Managing Partner of McAllister Olivarius, said:
“It’s really exciting to be nominated. Our top goal is to give our clients the best possible service, and this award recognizes that we have built a firm that delivers consistent quality.”
Law Society president Andrew Caplen said of the awards:
“I am proud to call myself a solicitor, and who can blame me with such impressive peers? Despite tough economic times and challenging legislative changes, our legal profession is continuously innovating and succeeding. I warmly congratulate this year’s finalists.”
